5 Million Decisions…..

The Internet is about huge numbers. Sometimes, these numbers don’t say anything to us. -2.4 billion people are connected to the Web. -6 billion have a mobile phone. But those numbers are huge! That is almost everyone. In that case, attaining 5 million decisions on Jesus.net is really something. It shows that many people are on the website and taking the Gospel seriously.

A click as a starting point of a spiritual journey

Often, we get feedback that these are just clicks, that people pushed a button because of a smart marketing trick. My response is: I don’t see every click as proof that someone became a Christian, or that people are saved. But I do know that the vast majority of these people took a step closer to God. And because we follow up on each one, we help them grow and move on in their spiritual journey.

Let us rejoice with The Father

What is most important about the numbers is that I realize God is working. He is touching people’s lives. I trust that the Holy Spirit has reached out to people and started a process in them to search for something. And when people begin to know God, it is because he touches their lives. The Bible affirms in Luke 15:7 that heaven rejoices at such a moment. So, whatever the “click” exactly is: Let us rejoice with our Father that people are moving towards Him.
