Are you hungry? Then eat!

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Are you hungry? Then eat!

The Bible tells us that the Word of God is our food.
Jesus said, “‘It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (The Bible, Matthew 4:4)

So, like earthly food, the Word of God is there to fulfill one of our basic needs. It’s there to renew our energy. It’s there, fundamentally, for our good.

So, if you’re hungry for God today…partake of a delicious breakfast!

  • Eat His Word, and You will be satisfied!
  • His Word nourishes us to the depths of our beings.

When we feel discouraged, His Word encourages and lifts us up. When we have no more hope, His Word renews hope, giving us reasons to believe in victory and a better future! And when we feel empty, purposeless, His Word gives meaning to our lives and weight to our existence.

This is what Sini from India would like to share with us: “I’m so thankful for these messages. My belief in Jesus Christ has increased and daily I am waiting for God’s words. Every day, God is speaking to me. Now, I believe that God has a purpose for me. God is with me always. Every day, He is watching over me. I am safe in God’s hands. Thank you so much for praying.”

Allow His Word to deeply nourish you. Today, be deeply renewed! As Navini from Canada wrote to me, “I am so blessed and encouraged by the HOLY SCRIPTURES, and ‘A Miracle Every Day’ gives a real boost in my daily life of ups and downs.”

I’d like to finish this email by inviting you to meditate on this passage from Psalm 119, verses 9 through 18:

“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes. With my lips I have declared all the judgments of Your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your word. Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.”
