Dare to ask!

I love Ruth’s journey. Her story is so encouraging that a book of the Bible is named after her!
Ruth needed help: she had to find a solution to feed herself and her mother-in-law, Naomi. She went to the field owned by a man named Boaz and asked for permission to glean grain there.

Ruth dared to ask. She didn’t remain alone, without a solution. She gathered her courage and asked for help!

Sometimes we also need help. But we don’t always dare to ask. Yet, God created us to help each other! If you’re in a situation and need help, and you simply can’t get out of it alone…don’t hesitate! Ask for help from those around you, particularly from other Christian brothers and sisters, who will also be able to pray for you.

Ruth did well to ask…Boaz not only allowed her to gather grain from his field so she could eat, but later, he also took her under his protective wing.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.” (The Bible, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

God hears our prayers, and He often uses others to answer them! So don’t be afraid to ask for help.
