Follow the Morning star!

The Bible refers to Jesus as the “Bright and Morning Star.” (see Revelation 22:16)
Ever since boats have existed, sailors have found their bearings and followed their courses by looking to the stars. The star is the light in the midst of the darkness, the guide, the path to follow so travelers don’t lose their way. One of the best known of the stars, the evening star (also called the shepherd’s star), wears its name well…the first to appear, the last to fade into the light, it accompanies shepherds leading their flocks.

When we’re in the darkness, we don’t know where we are or where to go. If you feel confused in the middle of the situation you’re in, disoriented by life’s problems, recenter your gaze on Jesus. Like a star in your night, Christ enlightens you, and there is no shadow of turning in His presence!
