God makes the impossible possible!

It’s easy to encourage certain people, especially those we like and enjoy. But it’s much more difficult with others…it can require some real effort on our part.

There was a believer in the New Testament who was a true encourager. “…Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement)…” (the Bible, Acts 4:36)

Sometimes we have trouble with certain people. Contact with them makes us bristle, and we don’t always know why. We often don’t dare to acknowledge that the source of this irritation may be a feeling linked to jealousy or unforgiveness… Could this be the case for you?

How can this situation be fixed in a way that honors the Lord… because this is what you desire, isn’t it?

Even if it costs you, choose today to encourage difficult people. Thank them for who they are and for what they’re doing right. And you will see, slowly but surely, that you will no longer perceive them in the same way, and that you will even begin to love them…sincerely.

It seems impossible today, but isn’t God the One who makes the impossible possible?
