Here’s a promise for each day of your life…

King David declares in the Bible, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (The Bible, Psalm 23:6)
This well-known verse speaks to us of goodness and mercy!

• Goodness is what Jesus desires for you and your life…He wants to bless you, fill you, and cause you to rejoice.
• Mercy is what Jesus desires to do through you and your life…He wants to help you give it, extend forgiveness, release His life and peace…

Yes, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life! And where does this happen? In God’s house! David loved to be in the house of God. He loved the presence of the Lord.

Today, you don’t need to go to a holy place to access God’s presence. Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross gave us access to His presence permanently and anywhere we go!

You are the house of God. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you. Cherish His presence like David did until the end of your days and into eternity!
