“O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever.” (The Bible, Psalm 131:3)
Here’s a thought to consider today: Aren’t we all sometimes tempted to place our trust in “something” that is visible or that has a reliable feel to it, like our finances, work, spouse, etc.?
God is a sure shelter. He is “THE rock.” He does not move or waver; He is not unstable. He does not change.
God is the One who…
• Comforts you
• Protects you
• Lifts you up
• Restores you
• And keeps His word.
His Word invites you to place your trust and assurance in the Lord…not in your abilities or in this world’s systems that can neither save nor console you.
It is your privilege to have God as your rock and fortress. Place your hope fully in Him, and receive His peace!
Pray with me: “Lord, I am making a change today. I place my trust and assurance in You rather than in myself or any systems of this world. You are my rock and fortress! Amen.”
