Leave your ‘to do list’ to Jesus!

Many of us have “to do lists”…we scribble down everything we have to do by the end of the day in a planner, on a sticky note, or on the back of an old receipt.
For example…buy groceries, take the kids to soccer practice, go to a dentist’s appointment, etc. Yet, you and I both know that it doesn’t stop there! Sometimes our days are comprised of seemingly interminable lists of things to do. But this is what the Bible says about this day…

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (The Bible, Psalm 118:24)

This day is a gift! It is whatever you decide to make of it. Your attitude today can keep you in God’s peace or distance you from it.

Welcome the last-minute changes that you encounter today with joy and gratefulness. Keep your eyes on the Lord, on His plan. Though it may not be what you imagine, it is, without a shadow of a doubt, the very best for you!

Pray with me: “Lord, this is the day You have made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. I want to rejoice in all that is going to happen today and tomorrow. I believe and confess that You want the best for me, and I joyfully welcome Your ‘divine unexpected’ changes. In Your name, amen.”
