Let it marinate!

It’s not always easy to endure…I don’t know about you, but it’s often a challenge for me!

The writer Dutch Sheets once said, “A lack of endurance is one of the greatest causes of defeat, especially in prayer. We don’t wait well. We’re into microwaving; God, on the other hand, is usually into marinating.”

Today, I want to encourage you to not stop on this journey of prayer, but to continue moving forward, until the end!

Have you been waiting for an answer and still don’t have it? Keep waiting on God.

Keep praying, and don’t let up. Like this woman, whose story Jesus tells His disciples, in fact, to encourage them to pray and not lose heart. (Read the Bible, Luke 18:1-8)

God has not forgotten you. He’s interceding for you. His perfect will is being accomplished in your life!

What if we endured, persevered, in prayer, you and I? Imagine all the battles we’d be able to release into His hands and finally win…it’s worth it to let it marinate, isn’t it, my friend?
