Let your light shine!

Jesus has a high opinion of you. He doesn’t underestimate you or consider you to be someone of little importance. No, quite the opposite! Here’s what Jesus says of you: “‘You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.’” (the Bible, Matthew 5:14)

Jesus declares you worthy of representing Him, of shining His light to everyone around you! Like a lamp in the darkness…(see the Bible, Matthew 5:15)

Jesus has confidence in you. That’s why He entrusts you with this mission! You are the light of the world. You have within you the potential to illuminate, impact, and lead to Christ those who need Him.

Be reassured that Jesus, by His light that lives in you, empowers you to go and testify!

As the Bible says so well, “Let your light, so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
