Listen, encourage, love

“The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to hear as the learned.” (The Bible, Isaiah 50:4)
God is putting His Word in your mouth so that you can speak a word in season to those whose souls are saddened and weary. In order to receive these precious words that have the power to encourage, lift up, and strengthen, you have to first listen to…His voice.

It’s the Holy Spirit’s desire to teach you how to discern the voice of the Father…so that out of a thousand voices, you can recognize it, listen to it, and share this manna all around you!

This is why, when the morning comes and you’re peacefully in the presence of God, sharing your experiences, hopes, and perhaps your difficulties with Him…also take the time to listen to Him. Stop for a moment, and listen carefully. You will hear the Father, His voice, His heart. He’ll tell you that He loves you, of course…but He will also speak to you about your neighbor, your sister, your boss, the person who works alongside you…

• He will pour out His love in your heart for them.
• He will fill you with compassion.
• He will allow you to see them through His eyes!

My friend, the Father’s encouragement for this world is in your mouth! He desires to use you to heal, restore, encourage, and proclaim life!
