Love… yes, but how?

The Bible, of course, encourages us to love others. Love them because God loved us first.
Love them, yes… but how?

1 Corinthians 13, the well-known “love” chapter, gives us several helpful instructions. This morning, I’ll focus on one… Love by only seeing the good in each person.

Love by not suspecting others of evil, and love by even expecting the best of others! As we do this, we change the atmosphere around us.

“[Love] trusts God always, always looks for the best, never looks back, but keeps going to the end.” (The Bible, MSG, 1 Corinthians 13:7)

When we are disappointed or even mistreated by others, remember this…Jesus believes the best of us, despite our failings. Let’s be like Him!

You can love in this simple way… by thinking well of each person that you cross paths with today.
