Wall of …

The Wall of … The Wall of what? The wall of Fame. That will be the first association people have with this expression “wall of”. We want to be on a wall of fame. We want to be famous. We want to be celebrities and we want to look at celebrities. Very human. The more famous, the better it seems.

Other Walls

But there are many walls. Visiting old battlefields, big cemeteries. The “Remembrance Walls” are impressive. It strikes me how many people died and how young people were. But we have to honor the people who died for our freedom. Most of us live in peace today because these people were willing to die for us. They were the people on the ground. Fighting for others! A big army.

Eternal Battle

As Christians, we are aware of another fight. A fight for eternity. God started His war to save us. He sent His son Jesus. He won the battle and we received spiritual freedom. And looking at the cross, we see the most precious Remembrance symbol. Jesus gave his life unconditionally for us.

The battle has been won, but still goes on …

Jesus conquered the devil. The victory is on our side. But not everyone is reached and saved. Christ sends us as His fighters on this planet to reach the Lost. There are still people on the field every day fighting to reach people. Within Jesus.net, the local partners are doing the real job. Every day they are working to reach people. They continue with passion, endurance, and love for people without God.

Wall of Prayer

These people are the real workers. They are on the frontline. They need to be covered. As Christians, we have received the weapon of prayer. We pray weekly for the local partners. So, we created the Wall of Prayer. A  number of people (not complete and still growing) working to reach the lost. They use their talents to “fight” for Jesus. And finally, Jesus will say: Well done, good and faithful servants (Mt. 25:23). So, this Wall of Prayer is the real wall of fame!
