What if you became a child again?

Have you ever noticed how children are simple and don’t overcomplicate life? Sometimes, we envy their youth, don’t we?

Jesus loves children. When He was on the earth, He took them in His arms and blessed them (see the Bible, Mark 10:16).We even read that when His disciples asked Him who would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, Jesus gave them the example of a little child. (see the Bible, Matthew 18:1-4)

Jesus said, “‘Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’”

So Jesus encourages you to humble yourself… humility is precious in God’s eyes. On the other hand, wanting to be the greatest or the first does not help us enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Today, take note of those smaller than you, who are often so only by size or age…  And seek to develop within you this humility that so pleases God and lifts others up.
