What you do to the least of these, you do to Me!

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | What you do to the least of these, you do to Me!

A glass of water, that piece of bread, an item of clothing, that visit… these little things, my friend, are what the Lord asks of you. Love manifested for the hungry one, the thirsty, the naked, the sick, the one in prison, the broken one, the one who suffers, who’s alone, as the Bible tells us in Matthew 25:35-40.

“‘For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink’ […] ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?’ […] ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

That family member, a neighbor, that acquaintance, a person on the street, a child… the one God wants to touch by using you. He gave you His heart to love all “the least of these.” Look around you, and see the least of these… and put the love of Christ into action.

For me, coincidence doesnt exist. God is so greatI rush every morning to open your letter. Working at the center of a project to fight cancer, I daily meet women, children, see men with different types of cancer. ‘A Miracle Every Dayis my oxygen, the water I must drink to quench my thirst, a fountain from which to draw water. In my mission of encouragement, I share scriptures when I talk to those who are ill, and also via text I sent them to all those who come to our house. Thus, they each have their glass of water through the Word of God. Even if they come in tears, they leave with a newfound smile, joy for living despite their illness, saying that they accept carrying their cross with Jesus and believing that He is the only One who heals and can give them peace. They all say yes to trusting in Jesus. God bless you.”

Thank you, Claudette from Madagascar, for this powerful testimony of God’s love in action. You too… go and make a difference around you today!
