Where does the water in oases come from?

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Where does the water in oases come from?

Oases are found in deserts. But have you ever asked yourself where the water in them actually comes from? These bodies of water are fed by natural underground springs or wells dug by men. If the source dries up, the oasis disappears.
The oasis is all the more appreciated because of its surroundings, which make it visible, indispensable, and attractive. In the middle of the desert, who would refuse to quench his/her thirst there?

You aren’t where you are by chance. You are this oasis, and your spring is God’s presence! This is what the Bible declares about you…

“The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.” (Isaiah 58:11)

Your colleagues, friends, or family may find themselves in an arid, desert-like situation today. God is the One filling you with His life, making you a blessing in these people’s lives, like an oasis in the desert! Cultivate your relationship with God and your spiritual ears that listen to His voice. Immerse yourself in His Word and let yourself soak in His love.

Those who thirst for peace and truth will draw near to you, and then you can speak to them about the God of love, about the source of life that will never run dry!
I invite you to pray with me…“Lord, make me more sensitive to Your voice and Your Holy Spirit. May Your life flow into me every day so that I may be filled with You, Your love, and Your grace. I choose to be a blessing to all those around me! In Jesus’s name, amen.”
