Your life shall be like a tree…

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight [pleasure] is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” (The Bible, Psalm 1:1-3)

Imagine a tree with deep roots, a majestic trunk, strong branches, verdant leaves, blossoming flowers, and delicious fruit. This tree is YOU! It’s a picture of what God wants to do with your life.

Not long ago, I received a beautiful email from a reader of “A Miracle Every Day” that inspired me to write this prayer for you…

• I ask the Lord for abundant roots of excellent health for you.
• I ask the Lord for a trunk of deliverance for you, like a tunnel leading to great joy and the end of your suffering.
• I ask God for branches of prosperity that herald happiness.
• I ask God for multitudes of leaves of verdant treasures and clusters of juicy, lush fruit.
• I ask God for protective hedges of flowers breathing songs of contentment and victory on the wind, despite the changing of seasons.
• I ask God for a fertile tree with a nest of abundance in its highest branches that no birds of prey can reach—a tree that is a symbol of enduring faith, tenacity through every trial, and an eternity of happiness.

Yes, your life will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also will not wither!
