Are you afraid of tomorrow?

No one knows what tomorrow will bring, true? Well… yes and no! God knows. But we don’t. And fear can rise up because of the fact that we don’t know. The unknown scares us.

It’s a bit like driving one night, for the first time, down a road you don’t know. It can scare you.

But…it’s still true that your car’s headlights help you to see far enough to safely go forward. In a way, it’s the same with Jesus!

He is the light that guides and accompanies you each day. That doesn’t mean you’ll never encounter anything difficult. But, Jesus is there with you, and He knows each of the days fashioned and written for you. (see the Bible, Psalm 139:16)

With Jesus, it’s all a matter of trust and covenant. He gave His life to save yours! He didn’t pull you out of hell to abandon you on your way to heaven. :-)

God promised to take care of you… so don’t worry any more!

“‘So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’” (the Bible, Matthew 6:28-34)

I love you with the love of the Lord. I know that the Lord is there, so close to you, and that He will take care of you.
