Be like God…generous!

The Larousse dictionary defines a generous person as having greatness of soul. To be generous is being benevolent, kind, merciful, indulgent…speaking of Valentine’s Day, it is demonstrating love! :) It’s manifesting an attribute of God’s nature. Generous love is the call of the believer.

God, in sending Jesus, didn’t send one of His many sons. He sent everything He had: His only Son. This is the magnitude of His generosity: “For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” (see the Bible, John 3:16, TPT)

Praise God, we can receive the generous love of Jesus and share it with others! Like our Heavenly Father, we must give the best of what we have and honor the person receiving this gift.

Generosity isn’t just responding to a need…but proactively acting to strengthen the identity of the other.

So the a key to experiencing divine acceleration is…being generous!
