Do you need to forgive God?

Have you ever had these kinds of thoughts about God?…“Does He hear my prayers? Why is He letting misfortune hit my family? Why won’t He give me that job? Why aren’t I married yet?” etc.

God is completely good and doesn’t seek to manipulate or play us…So why do we sometimes have these kinds of thoughts?

There are times when our walk of faith is easy and others when we go through violent storms. These difficult times, even if we don’t understand them, change nothing about God’s nature, which is love.

The Bible says, “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” (1 John 4:16, NLT)

Of course, we have the right to ask ourselves questions, to ask God questions. He’s our Father! None of our questions or doubts could unnerve or shock Him.

God is not the initiator of your suffering and pain. Quite the opposite…

Whatever the state of your heart, don’t isolate yourself from the Father. God has made a covenant of grace, hope, and love with you, His child. Don’t distance yourself from Him today…instead, seek the sweetness of His presence.

Would you like to pray with me?…“Father, thank You for having plans for me for good and not for disaster, to give me a future and a hope. Thank You that no matter what happens, Your grace covers me. I choose to trust You: You love me, You protect me, and You keep me, even when I don’t understand everything. You’re a good Father to me! Amen.”
