Don’t be afraid

One day, Jesus approached His disciples and said to them, “It is I, do not be afraid.” (The Bible, John 6:20)
When things are in chaos and out of control all around you, that’s when fear starts to invade your life.

This fear can make you ask questions like…Am I going to be able to do this? How will I get out of this? Am I going to make it?

And when fear takes hold and grows inside of you, fed by uncertainty or painful memories, the questions become statements…I’m not going to be able to do this! I’m not going to make it…it’s impossible! I have no more hope!

It’s in this place that Jesus comes to you. He places His hand on your shoulder, looks at you with affection, and says, “It’s Me. I’m here. Don’t be afraid. All power has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I am strengthening you. I am delivering you. I love you.”

I declare freedom over you today as you allow His voice of love to permeate your being and dissolve every last trace of fear.
