Did you know that, if we’re not careful, our minds and inner beings can “overheat”? It’s dangerous to live under constant pressure without risking burning out.

Today, I’d like to draw your attention to your health. Not just your physical health, like learning how to relax…but also your soul and thought health. Here’s what the Lord desires for you: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (read the Bible, 3 John 1:2, NKJV)

Maybe you think it’s necessary to take care of your body by playing a sport, watching your diet, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle…However, do you also believe it’s vital to take care of your mind? You can have:

  • Your dream job;
  • A full bank account;
  • A healthy, fit body;

But if your mind is negative, you won’t succeed in leading a fulfilled and happy life. You can’t have a positive life and a negative mindset.

What are you feeding your mind? If you want more positivity in your days, in your life in general, you must work on your thoughts.

May I share some simple advice with you?

  • First of all, observe your thoughts and write them down in your journal.
  • Like you did with your pressures, next to each one, write one of God’s promises to change your negative thoughts into positive ones.
  • Focus on Him and not on your worries. (read Philippians 4:6-7)
  • Feed your thoughts in a healthy way. (read Philippians 4:8)

Then, pray like this…“Father, You know my thoughts; You know that I don’t always manage to direct them. Help me to replace all negative, evil thoughts with Your Word, because this is how I can delight Your heart and succeed in my life. In Jesus’s name, amen.”

God wants you to be healthy spiritually, mentally, and emotionally!

Have a wonderful day.

    I liked the practical suggestions you gave to write down our thoughts and then write a promise from God’s word – The Bible and then pray about it.

    Thanks Eric, for teaching God’s words and ways, pouring these messages in our lived each day.

    Blessings of health to you too, your loved ones and your team in Jesus’. Amen.
