Don’t give in to temptation… victory is near!

The Christian life is not a long, lazy river…but that’s what makes it so rich, so interesting. And temptations are part of this life. As long as we’re on this Earth, we will have to face them. Do you sometimes want to give in to temptation? To say to God, “Lord, I’m only human. My flesh is weak… I’m sure You understand…”?

Don’t do this! Here’s what the Bible says in James 1:12… “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

I don’t know which temptation pursues you. But I know one thing… God is faithful. He walks beside you, encouraging you. Yes, He upholds you along the way.

He is powerful and can keep you from giving in to temptation, whatever it may be: pornography, alcohol, adultery, lying, vengeance…

Be encouraged today and don’t forget… “Blessed is the one who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he/she will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

Don’t give in to temptation…victory is near, my friend! I’m with you wholeheartedly, and I’m praying for you!
