Don’t lose your divine spark!

We are all made in the image of God. (the Bible, Genesis 1:27) “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” 

Thus, we all have, inside of us… a divine spark.

During a UNESCO symposium in 1995, someone said, “Without the differences between man, each person’s identity would disappear. It’s the divine spark in each one that must be preserved.”

Don’t lose your divine spark! This spark is what makes people feel well, at ease, comforted, and happy in your presence. It’s what changes the world in a positive way. It’s what gives the people around you a glimpse of the Lord!

Your divine spark makes you unique. No one else but you can do what you do or be who you are. This is why the world needs you, right there where you are… it needs your divine spark.

As this song reminds us, we are the light of the world!  Shine with His light… in doing so, you’re allowing God to use you in the lives of those who so need Him!
