Faith is a muscle

Your heart pumps several thousand liters of blood each day, enabling oxygen to circulate freely throughout your body and feed your organs and muscles. This incredible instrument accomplishes a monumental task without ever stopping (fortunately!), allowing us to stay alive.

Isn’t God’s creation fascinating? Isn’t it simply phenomenal? The heart is one of the central organs in the mechanics of life. It’s the same with faith, the ultimate driving force behind our lives as Christians.

“This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, ‘It is through faith that a righteous person has life.’” (the Bible, Romans 1:17, NLT)

Just as you can’t keep living if your heart stops, walking with Christ is impossible without faith.

• It’s by faith that you believe that Jesus died and was resurrected.
• By faith, you receive God’s promises for you.
• By faith, you choose to focus on God rather than on your circumstances.

Each situation you encounter allows your faith to develop and increase in strength, like a muscle.

Today is no different than any other in the sense that it brings its own set of challenges to overcome. However, it can be an incredible opportunity to demonstrate your faith!

Pray with me…“Lord, I believe in You more than in what my physical eyes can see. I believe that You’re good and that You’re strengthening my faith each moment through everything I’m going through. Thank You for Your presence, Your grace, and Your steady heart of love that never fails. In Jesus’ name, amen!”
