God freely gives His good and perfect gifts!

Today is the final day of our week-long financial campaign! You are precious to me as a part of the worldwide “A Miracle Every Day” family. In general, we give or receive gifts mostly on special occasions. For example, we usually don’t give gifts on Independence Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, or Thanksgiving…but on Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and birthdays, yes! Do you know what I think? I think God doesn’t wait for a special occasion to give to us! ;-) I believe that God gives because He loves. And He loves all the time!

The Bible says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” (James 1:17, NKJV)

Your Heavenly Father has good things for you. In fact, He has reserved the best things for you! Nothing can match what He wants to give you:

• His peace, His joy, His life, His freedom
• The ability to accomplish the mission that He’s entrusted to you on Earth
• The strength to continue to be a light in this world, even when it’s difficult.

And above all, God gave Jesus, His most extravagant gift, out of love: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) Let’s praise our God today for His indescribable love and generosity!

Even as the Lord has given you His best gifts, you can reach out and give to others through His love. You are blessed to be a blessing! There is such great freedom in giving to others, such joy that is released as we give like the Father does!

As the Bible tells us, “I’ve left you an example of how you should serve and take care of those who are weak. For we must always cherish the words of our Lord Jesus, who taught, ‘Giving brings a far greater blessing than receiving.’” (Acts 20:35, TPT) 

Would you like to pray with me?…“Lord, thank You. You have given me everything, the best of the best gifts. Thank You for sending Your Son out of love! Thank You for Your peace, joy, strength, and life. I pray that You help me to be like You today…I want to give extravagantly to this world You so love! Thank You for the freedom and joy of giving. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
