The size of your mistakes can never equal that of God’s love for you, my friend. It seems so obvious, and yet sometimes you may be crushed under the weight of guilt, even going so far as to think, “I can’t pray” or “I can’t go before the Lord in this state.”

No one can purify or free him/herself alone without God’s help. He’s the One who washes clean. He is the One who redeems. Simply approach Him as Hebrews 4:16 encourages us, and if you feel the need, ask His forgiveness. He is faithful and good. He will erase your sins! Here’s what Jesus declares in the Bible:

“‘…I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ ‘For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”’ (Matthew 9:13, NKJV)

God accepts you just as you are, no matter what your situation is. His arms are open, always ready to surround and comfort you. He is merciful and full of love. He truly takes pleasure in manifesting His grace on your behalf!

If you’d like, I welcome you to say this prayer with me…“My God, I ask for Your forgiveness for my mistakes. I pray that You lift this weight from my heart. I want to live out true freedom in You and receive Your grace. Thank You for Your mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

P.S. You may have heard of the man born without arms or legs, Nick Vujicic (see a video presentation here). Perhaps you were surprised at how he lives life to the full despite his disability? Were you touched by his joy, courage, and faith in God? How could a human being without limbs show so much love, compassion, and empathy for others? What a source of encouragement for our generation!
