“God’s promises aren’t late… they’re just on their way!”

God promised, and you haven’t seen anything happen yet… does that mean He lied?

The Bible, the light that guides each step we take, declares that God “is not a man, that He should lie” (see Numbers 23:19).

And more than that, God is ready to accomplish what He said! He is ready to do what He committed to do: “Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.’” (the Bible, Jeremiah 1:12)

God doesn’t “slip away” with no explanation. What He said, He will do. You can be sure of this because His Word is unshakeable and immutable…in other words, it doesn’t change.

You can confidently hope in His promise…God will accomplish what He promised! When He says something, it comes to pass. (the Bible, Numbers 23:19) As the bridge of this song by Bethel Music says, “You who hold the stars, who call them each by name, will surely keep Your promise to me, that I will rise in Your victory!”

Stay strong. Don’t let yourself become discouraged… don’t stop! Persevere in confidence and believe in God’s promise for you… it’s already on its way to fulfillment!
