Do you have doubts concerning your future? About what you should do, the job you should take, the person you should marry? All these questions can be a source of worry, but fortunately, God knows all things. He knows everything about your life in advance. In fact, He prepared everything in advance. It’s what Ephesians 2:10 teaches us, that you were “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand” that you should walk in them. (read the Bible, NKJV)
You see, whatever is happening in your life right now, you can be sure that God’s plan for your life is well defined and that He is leading you there step by step.
In fact, even if you’re not seeing anything, you have no specific goal or plan, or you’re afraid of missing your destiny, as one reader confided, saying, “I’m afraid of not being in God’s plan”, God has everything planned for you…
- He knows what your destiny looks like. (read Psalm 31:15)
- He knows every detail of your life. (read Psalm 139:1-5)
- He is training you to discern and do His “good works.”
In the secular world, it may be that you find yourself on the sidelines after an economic layoff or accident… And it’s difficult to find another job or change your profession, especially if you add up the years. “Make way for the next generation!”…
But with God, there is no risk of that happening. He will never let you fall. He will never leave you without resources…Because He has only one desire: to see you fulfill His plans of peace, to thrive in the abundant life Jesus died for.
Your Father has a dream for you, and it’s so great you can’t even imagine it. And He will guide you in the path that He has destined for you.
Yes, God’s dreams become reality.
I encourage you to seek God’s will for your life! To ask Him to “see” His plans so that you can run “toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called [you] heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (read Philippians 3:14, NIV)
Trust Him…He has planned everything, and your life is in His hands.
God is showing you the way: follow Him and follow it!

I am so amazed at these devotionals lately. They have always blessed me, but it is amazing how they speak to me now. It is like you know exactly what is going on in my life, and speaking the words I need to hear. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Beautiful and true your message but just one little thing, God neither dreams nor has dreams. Dreams are something for human beings, not for God. He is the Almighty. He never dreams; He plans and carry out His plans; He decides to do something and does it. He is God. It is quite cute and poetic to say that God dreams or has dreams but this is a theological and spiritual misconception. God strategizes and executes. Period.
