It is never too late with God!

Today, I invite you to read this short excerpt from my first book, Divine Connections:
As a young pastor, I rapidly discovered the opposite of pastoral decorum. Unfortunately, in the region where I lived, there were many quarrels, divisions, and power struggles among Christians. It was sometimes brutal…I was distraught to discover this reality.

So as to not let the dream of God die and to help increase the vision that God placed within us, we started prayer meetings in Givors that we called “Catacombs” in remembrance of the first Christians that secretly gathered underground in Rome.

Thus, we gathered together with several church leaders from different cities, regularly spending a day in fasting and prayer for each other, letting the Holy Spirit manifest in our lives. No agenda, no business to settle…just spending time with Jesus. Prophetic words were often given. I saw several of these words come to pass in my life.

Maybe you’re encountering difficult times, times of disillusionment, doubt, trials. But there is hope. It says in the Word that “a bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench” (Matthew 12:20). God is on your side; He will not let the devil scare you off. Begin to pray!

Don’t let “dream killers” destroy you. Instead, let God renew, even resurrect, His dream for your life. It isn’t too late. With God, it is never too late, and He can use creative, new ways to bless you today.
