Have you ever experienced a time of retreat with God? It is one of the keys to divine acceleration.

When Jesus fasted in the desert, He was filled with the Spirit. He left the desert filled with the power of the Spirit, which became manifest in His life! (see the Bible, Luke 4:14) 

“Then Jesus returned to Galilee, filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. Reports about him spread quickly through the whole region.”

In this time apart, even if everything seems to stop, in the Spirit, things move: victories are brought back, wars are won, unnecessary battles are avoided, directions and creative ideas are revealed. Jesus even teaches us that certain victories are won only through fasting and prayer. God speaks to us sometimes in one way and sometimes in another, doesn’t He?

A key for experiencing divine acceleration is…setting yourself apart. Taking a special time to listen to God is making yourself more attentive to His voice.

Today, I encourage you to take or plan a special time alone with God! You’ll be surprised to see that He doesn’t hesitate to reveal Himself during these times.
