“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, and from the heights of Hermon, from the Hill Mizar.” (see Psalm 42:5-6)
I invite you today to exchange your complaints with praise…But why, you may ask? Here’s what the Word of God says: “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (see Psalm 22:3)
- God creates a throne of our praises.
- There, where we praise Him, He reigns in victory.
- Praising God changes our state of mind.
“This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” (see the Bible, Lamentations 3:21-23)
David understood… he could have succumbed to discouragement in the midst of his family problems, Saul’s rejection, and all the scheming and mockery of his enemies. But David knew that God was good, and he chose to bring this truth into remembrance until it was fully revealed in his life.
So, it’s time to change the subject…! Choose to praise rather than complain, and watch God act…! Thank Him for all of His benefits, and you won’t have time to complain any longer!
Yesterday when I was really down I asked the Lord for help… right then the Revalation Song played on my radio… it brought me so much peace and joy!!!

13 november wordt het 2jaar dat ik mijn man verloor. Dat is zwaar . Hij is bij de Heer. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat ik hem mis .Ben mijn 3voudig snoer kwijt mijn maatje mijn hondje en een mooie tuin. Omdat ik ook ziek ben. We kende elkaar 55jaar. Waren precies 50en een half jaar getrouwd. 13mei was het 50 jaar . Wil toch mee doen want ik weet dat God toch nog een plan heeft. Het is me allemaal alleen nog niet duidelijk. Wel is me duidelijk dat ik niet zonder Jezus kan en wil. Ook al ervaar ik dit momenteel niet zo maar weet dat dat aan mij ligt want Hij is er altijd ben zijn tempel Hij woont in mij. Ben geboren in 1944 -14 december . Heb al eerder een stukje geschreven over ik wonder jou. Dat bleek de éérste uitgaven te zijn in Nederland midden i d nacht via de bijbel app. Heb dat ook gelijk geddeld met mij broeders en zusters in de gemeente. Wens jullie veel sterkte wijsheid Maar bovenal Gods rijke zegen toe.halleluja amen groetjes en liefs voor allemaal Hetty.
