“Perfect”…in His eyes!

AMED 38.13

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | “Perfect”…in His eyes!

Yesterday, we declared together that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, in God’s eyes as well as in yours. Today, God wants to remind you that you’re perfect in His eyes…It’s what He confirms here: “For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy.” (Read the Bible, Hebrews 10:14, NLT)

In reality, God doesn’t look at our flaws…Not because He decided not to out of His immense love for us or because He’s hiding them under His white garment. No, it’s for the simple and good reason that they disappeared! Forever!

In fact, God erases them and makes us…perfect, like Him, for He “…cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.” (Read Colossians 2:14, AMPC) This happens miraculously:

  • When we confess our wrongs, our sins,
  • When we ask His forgiveness,
  • When we choose to renounce these sins and not start doing them again.

Then God performs the miracle, and Jesus comes and lives in us.

Also, I encourage you to proclaim Jesus’ word: “‘I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.’” (Read Hebrews 10:17, NLT) It’s Jesus who said it and accomplished it. So no one can undo this truth. And the truth sets you free! So:

  • If you’re discouraged by your attitude sometimes,
  • If you think you’ll never change,
  • If you’re feeling guilty about this sin or that shortcoming,

…Declare it: “God has forever made me perfect.”

Let’s pray together…“Thank You, Lord Jesus, for dying on the cross for me to make me perfect. You said that You will never again remember my sins and lawless deeds. From now on, I refuse to let myself be defeated because I know that You’re working in me, so that moment by moment, it’s not me but Jesus who lives in me. Thank You for making me perfect in Your eyes. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

I encourage you to keep this truth anchored in your heart: God has made you perfect. Even in your human imperfection because Jesus has given you His perfection. Glory to God!

Have a beautiful day!
