Sowing and reaping leads to freedom!

“A Miracle Every Day” has existed for three years in English, and thanks to the Lord, has already touched and changed many lives, and I believe yours too. This week, we’re doing a special series on generosity. It’s also the week “A Miracle Every Day” is inviting you to give financially to help us continue seeing lives changed! Would you please pray and ask the Lord if He would have you give financially to this work with a monthly or special gift? You can give by clicking here. May even more lives be changed and set free through “A Miracle Every Day”!

The Word of God says, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously…Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:6, 10-11, NIV)

So does sowing and reaping actually work? Yes! God makes some extravagant promises in these passages concerning your finances. God says that if you sow generously:

  • He will bless you over the top financially
  • You will increase in righteousness
  • You will be enriched in EVERY way
  • You will have plenty to be generous to others all the time!

God has taught us (my wife and me) to be generous with the work of God, to support missionaries, pastors, and churches…in short, to give into the Kingdom of God. I say this without pride because this was sometimes a painful learning process, as generosity didn’t come naturally for me.

But I’ve seen it time and time again: you cannot give something to God without Him giving you much more back in return! God told us to sow because He wants us to do the things that enrich our lives. Giving pleases Him. And it moves His hand of blessing.

Our gift simply has to be intentional…in other words, done for Him, with the right heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion. (read 2 Corinthians 9:7)

Today, let’s thank God for His amazing principle of sowing and reaping and ask Him to manifest His generous nature through us!

Let’s worship together as we listen to this beautiful song about God’s extravagant love.

If you feel led to give to “A Miracle Every Day,” thank you so much! 100% of your gift will go directly toward helping “A Miracle Every Day,” continue reaching people with the powerful message of God’s love. Know that when you sow into His Kingdom, God Himself gives back to you. And there’s nothing like God’s blessing! Please click here to give.

This song comforts my soul. As a single person being alone can be tough at times. This was a great reminder of how much God loves me! Thank you!
