Take time with God…first ?

AMED 26.20

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Take time with God…first ?

Is it difficult for you, in the midst of your family life and numerous professional or voluntary responsibilities, to plan a time of communion with you and God?

We read in the Bible, ““But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”” (see Matthew 6:33, NKJV)

Each day offers the promise of a fresh start and a new opportunity to receive the mercies of God. That’s why what we do during the first moments of our day determines all the rest.

You’re promised that if you seek the Lord first, then the rest will follow: divine provision, divine connections, wisdom, discernment, creativity…

In truth, we are too busy not to pray. All the projects we dream of accomplishing, all the promises that God has made for our families, all the hopes that we nurture for our married lives or for the Kingdom of God…nothing is too important for us not to present it to God in prayer.

Without God, I can twist, turn, and flounder, but I’ll never be truly effective! With Him, on the other hand, I can do great feats.

Surround yourselves with people who have already uncovered certain secrets of prayer and will know how to guide you. And above all, address all of your needs to your Heavenly Father…He takes great interest in you!

Thank you Eric for this message, some days because of physical pain I find difficult to express myself to God, I find difficult to concentrate and bring my thoughts together, but I will try again, I will deliberately sit with Him patiently and not worry about expressing myself, I will simply sit with Him even when I am in pain or fatigued.

Thank you, this message has encouraged me a lot and I feel joy and excitement to sit with God, seeking Him first even on days when I feel weak.

God’s favour be on you today & upon the “A Miracle everyday” team.

Each day as I read or listen to the words God has given you to share with all who follow ” A Miracle Every Day”, I find myself with a slight smile at the ever lasting loving care of our Heavenly Father in not only the words brought forth but the message goes straight to my heart and either confirms or commits. The Holy Spirit is truly at work in me and I pray for every soul that hears the same that their hearts are gladdened to know just how much we are all loved that love Him.
I am preparing for another surgery that is quite risky not only the surgery itself but for my age but God is preparing the way even when I think something ii not necessary. I then realize I must relinquish what hold I am keeping and release it all to God..trusting that His divine word covers anything I might need or enter into on this earth. I am prepared spiritually and have fulfilled all for my children for whatever these steps bring and I WIN either way the surgery goes. I am truly blessed to be able to live by that thought….being blessed in all things.
Thank you for your faithfulness in your ministry that touches all who read and hear and find true guidance in our daily walk with Christ.
A faithful reader and upholder of your team in prayer.
