The Lord will never leave you nor forsake you

During this holiday season, many people find themselves feeling empty and alone. I would like to share something with them. Among those who feel alone, there may be, for example…

• Those who have experienced an unexpected or unwanted romantic breakup,
• Those who are living abroad and far from their loved ones,
• Those who don’t have, or no longer have, family,
• Those who are sick, suffering, in the hospital,
• Those who are in prison,
• Those who are elderly and abandoned,
• Those who have known the loss of a loved one,
• Those who have been rejected, abandoned, betrayed, etc.

If you are feeling alone, I would like to leave with you today, like a balm for your heart, these promises from the Bible…

• “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
• He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5 and Joshua 1:5)
• He is with you always, even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)
