This week, be someone’s miracle

I’d like to share a video with you about a little girl who goes into a shop to buy a necklace for her older sister. 

Their mother died, and this child wants to make her sister happy…see her smile again. But the girl only has a few coins…yet, the shopkeeper agrees to give her the necklace.

I’d like to tell you why this story touches me…

• God loves children and those who are like them. Jesus said, ““Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”” (the Bible, Matthew 19:14, NLT) Have a simple faith, a childlike faith. It’s enough to touch the Father’s heart.
• Everything is a gift and grace. We don’t deserve anything, but God, our Father, wants to provide for all our needs. The Bible says, “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)  I believe that God wants to and will provide for all your needs!
• Generosity is a key that opens the door of blessing. The child brings her few coins. The shopkeeper gives his necklace. The older sister took care of the younger. The Bible encourages us to “do good…be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.” (1 Timothy 6:18) 
• Like this little girl, we can be a miracle in the lives of others. Through you, someone can find hope and a smile again.

I pray that this week, you’ll be someone’s miracle!
