Victory is found…in your faith!

AMED 40.25-2

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Victory is found…in your faith!

Your faith in Jesus is a precious possession, if not the most precious. Not only does it open the gates of heaven to you, but it also causes you to triumph in the fierce battles you now face in this Earth. The Lord promises us victory over our enemies, and no exclusion is made during the most difficult challenges, including this coronavirus pandemic. I want to encourage you today by drawing upon the verse from the Bible that says: “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4, NKJV)  It’s imperative that we know how to live and move by faith in Jesus Christ and in Him alone.

You are born of God; your faith is in Him, and it allows you to be victorious in the present and future! I praise God that you’re an overcomer in Christ, as Mandisa powerfully declares in this song.

Don’t let your soul be oppressed by doubts and fears. In the face of anxiety and uncertainty, declare by faith that the One you love, the creator God, is holding your life in His hands! As you rest in this truth, know that your faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (see Romans 10:17).  Thus, the Word nourishes your faith, and you move mountains! Hallelujah!

Your faith is also a shield that empowers you to stop the fiery darts of the enemy against your life (see Ephesians 6:16). The Bible says that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (see 1 Peter 5:8). The enemy’s goal is to paralyze you. Fear is one of his favorite weapons. This is what we need to understand as we read this verse about the roaring lion! Frozen there, paralyzed by fear, the victim can no longer move, and the lion will spring and devour.

But there’s good news! “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)

  • Submitting yourself to God means saying to Him, “I am Your child, I’m depending on You, my life is in Your hands, and You are with me.” It’s recognizing His almightiness, His majesty, and His grandeur. It’s confessing by faith that He is your very present help in times of trouble!
  • Resisting the devil means to command, “Get behind me, Satan! You have no part in my life. You have no power over me because I belong to God. God is my Father. And I have faith in what Jesus has spoken to me in His Word: “‘Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.’” (Luke 10:19) Therefore, be gone, in Jesus’ mighty name!”

Amen! Speak this out by faith, as often as you need to during this difficult season! God promises that the devil will flee from you. As the darkness cannot stand the light, the devil cannot stand the joyful faith of God’s children. Have faith in God, don’t let yourself be intimidated, and you will have the victory!

I believe you will overcome and finish strong through faith in God.

Thanks for existing!

Opening up and reading this email along with the video Overcomer was purely divine timing. I had just gotten off the phone listening to a message from my employer that our school district students will not be returning to school until May 4th at the earliest. As a para employee (and sigle woman) I won’t know for another couple of days what my hours/status will be. I felt deflated afterward. Will I have employment? Then I watched the Overcomer video and boom….I literally want to dance! The email message reminded me of who I’ve been born to and who I belong to ❣️. Immanuel is with us, Jesus fights for us, and hems us in. Holy Spirit, lead us all, and we declare we are God’s chosen people! The people in the video inspired me and remineded me again that we are human and have dependence on Jesus-what a blessing!
