“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle.” (the Bible, Psalm 144:1, NKJV)
You are in the Lord’s “boot camp.” Everything you’re going through in this moment is destined to shape and teach you. Look at professional athletes, for example…all of them must go through a season of intense training.
Such a season can be hard physically, emotionally, or psychologically. It may even seem to you that every part of your being is under pressure. You may feel like you’re going to crack, but it doesn’t happen, by the grace of God…
Yes, you’re “…hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; … perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)!
Your Father is preparing you for the future. He knows what you’re capable of and what you can endure.
Fix your gaze on Him and keep plowing forward! Don’t jump ship under any circumstances. God is at your side like a good heavenly coach. He’s saying to you…“My child, you’re going to make it. I am here to help you!”
I invite you to pray with me…“Father, thank You that You know what I’m capable of and what I can endure. All of this has a purpose…You are training my hands for war and my fingers for battle. I will not jump ship. I will persevere and listen to Your voice! In Your name, amen!”
I cried and cried and cried reading this entire message. Words that I needed to hear from God. He really is my coach, like how He knows what I am going through and speaks through your messages Eric as if you knew what I needed today. He (God my coach) is helping me to continue in the season I am in. Thank you for leading in prayer.

It’s divine intervention every time I read these devotionals Our heavenly righteous father knows exactly what we are going through and he never forsakes or abandons us. Hallelujah to the Lamb of GOD! Thank you JESUS Christ almighty I praise you and adore you!
