“What happens when we receive the revelation of how much Jesus loves us?”

One day, Jesus was in Bethany at Simon’s house. There, a woman approached Jesus and poured a very costly fragrant oil on His head (see the Bible, Matthew 26:7).

This woman deeply loved Jesus. She literally poured out her love on Him. The other people there, even Jesus’s disciples, were shocked by her gesture… this perfume could have been sold to help the poor.. . or perhaps to make the treasurer richer.

Yet, Jesus defended this woman. For Him, what she had done was a tremendous act of love. He even added that wherever the gospel would be preached in the world, what she had done would be told as a memorial to her.

More than 2,000 years have passed since this event occurred. This woman surely would never have thought that her act of love would be recounted throughout the ages…

Many of the valiant deeds of the great men and women of history have entirely faded from memory, but what this woman did for Jesus that day is still told all over the world!

When you have a revelation of how much Jesus loves you, you only have one desire… to pour out your love on Him! Others may think that it’s a waste of time or energy, and even that it’s a bit crazy, but how priceless it is in the Lord’s eyes… a price that transcends the passing of time and will last into eternity!

    My name is Vanessa i want to give more of my love to the Lord,I love him with my hole heart I’m saved a believer however it seems as if I’m all alone in this world. I have a husband, family and a church family but still I ferl along.

    I love God but I wish I did not sin greatly and do bigger sacrifices in love so that I have the biggest love. That’s what he deserves and did and does for us.

    I read my Bible praise God to all whom will hear, love the Lord with all my heart @ soul but it still seems so little to GIVE for all he had done for us all!

    I love reading the bible. 2Timothy 3:16 17 a diligence studying of God word the bible is important. Thanks again Eric. And prayer is important Pslam 65:2

    God so loved so that we could love. That LOVE transcends all comprehensive thoughts but LOVES covers all sin. BLESSED are the righteous to whom GOD LOVES!!

    I THANK GOD FOR HE IS MY STRENGHT I NOT TO LONG AGO WAS ATTACKED BY SOMEONE I DIDNT KNOW. HE BEAT ME DOWN FOR 8to9 HOURS.HE STATED HE WAS GONNA KILL ME BUT GOD DIDNT SEE IT THAT AWAY. ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CARED FOR ME WHERE ALL AROUND WHERE EVER THIS MAN HAD TOOK ME, BUT GIVEN THAT SPIRIALTUAL STRENGTH I WAS ABLE TO FLEE AND RUN LIKE I HAD WINGS ON MY BACK.
