You’re a miracle!

Imagine…there are 7.7 billion people on this planet, and there are no two of them like you! You’re the only one with those eyes, that nose, that silhouette, that laugh…and your personality that distinguishes you from all others.

I’d like to invite you to understand this today: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (according to the Bible, Psalm 139:14, NIV)

Yes, God is the Creator par excellence. He is the Almighty; at the sound of His voice, all of creation was set into motion. He created a unique template for each individual and creature in the universe.

From this day forward, remember that God intentionally gave you life, with all the attributes that you sometimes criticize. Yet…

• You are unique and have been created with a special destiny.
• You are a pearl of great price in His hands, a priceless treasure.
• You are not a mistake…you are God’s choice.
• You are not the result of chance. You are the result of His love.

Whenever you’re tempted to grimace at your reflection in the mirror, doubt your worth, or compare yourself to others, remember this truth and embrace it:

You are not a failure. You are a miracle. (read Psalm 139:13-18)

Let’s praise God together…“God, I praise You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank You for the breath of life, for this body that works by Your grace. I bless Your name for creating me uniquely, out of love, and for holding my life safe and sound in Your hands. In Jesus’s name, amen.”
