Power from heaven
How do you feel when you read about Jesus healing the sick, setting people free from bondage, speaking prophetically into their lives, and even raising the dead? The Bible reveals that this is all possible for you, too, through faith and in His authority: “‘And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.’” (Mark 16:17-18, NKJV)
friend, do you believe that this is possible for you? Jesus died, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and sent the promise of the Father to empower us to do the impossible. “‘Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.’” (Luke 24:49, NKJV) So let’s open our hearts for the download of power from heaven that Jesus promised by taking the following steps:
- Ask Jesus to forgive you for all your mistakes and sins.
- Invite Jesus to come into your life. “‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.’” (Revelation 3:20, NKJV)
- Forgive everyone who has hurt you, abused you, or cheated you.
- Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you, empower you, and manifest through you with His gifts and fruit.
friend, you can start living with power every day. A life filled with the Spirit of God is a power-filled life, and that’s how you become a miracle.
