Are you afraid of giants?

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Are you afraid of giants?

As America celebrates the 4th of July today, I’d like each of us to declare aloud, as the prophet Jeremiah did, “Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!’” (Lamentations 3:21-24, NLT) Great is His faithfulness to each of us, to the United States, and to all the nations of the world. Have a blessed Independence Day!

Are you intimidated by other people? Are you afraid of rejection? Are you insecure about your looks or talents? Would you like to become more confident and courageous? I hope you answered yes to these questions because I’m about to share with you a few personal secrets that helped me cross over into my destiny. Are you ready?

  1. You can’t “cross over” until you’ve crossed over. Wow! This sounds like a riddle, but it’s actually so true. Your destination will not change until you change. Focus on personal and spiritual growth and health.
  1. You’ve got to face your giants when you cross over: “‘No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Joshua 1:5, NIV) God promised Joshua that no person would be able to stand in his way. In other words, Joshua was told he would defeat the same giants that had previously intimidated an entire nation. There is no progress without a battle.
  1. You must renounce the fear of people. The Bible says, “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.” (Proverbs 29:25, NIV) Pleasing people will cause you to remain in the desert. Codependency will cause you to live in the bad decisions of others. Enabling will entrench you in fixing others instead of building your new future.
  1. You cannot control others, but you do have the power to influence others. There’s a big difference between influence and feeling responsible for the thoughts, feelings, and actions of others. The Bible reminds us that Jesus lived this truth: “‘If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.’” (Mark 4:23, NIV) The greatest communicator of all time knew that His crowd would misinterpret Him.

Will you make a decision today to cross over into your promised land? Will you face the fears and giants that have kept you bound? You can make choices today that will change your tomorrows, or you can remain the same. That’s why I wrote Crossover. I hope and pray it helps you build a better tomorrow because you’re born to be a miracle.

    Hello Paul,
I’m trying to figure out where I’m going my head is full yet it’s empty I’m not sure what I’m doing right now I’m going towards a relationship with a man that’s not my husband my careers seems to be going in that path he has offered me an opportunity to start a business something I’ve never been bold enough to do and I’m actually thinking about doing it. Because I am now in my later years and I am thinking this may be my last opportunity to start a business but this relationship is a problem between us how he feels about me he makes me feel confident he sees in me what I cannot see. And how I’m feeling it’s not physical there is no intimacy yet. I am confused I don’t understand why this door would open up for me that also led to temptation for me. I am not blaming God, in anyway. I just don’t know how to get the opportunity without the relationship? It’s all down to me I must make a decision.
Please pray for me that the our Lord God, will guide me. I need prayers help and advice.
    Blessings Corona.

      Guidance Prayer
Give me clear guidance in my life, Lord. As I submit myself to you, I know that you will direct my paths and I can have confidence that your direction is always the best way to go. Hear my prayer, Father. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen

In deepest love I feel I must speak at least a little to this.. Please think about this FULLY and pray, pray, pray and listen for God to speak.. God never wants us to willfully sin, Matthew 5:27-28 says, 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart….

Now I speak this not to condemn you but as Christians it IS our job to speak to our brothers and sisters in love… I don’t know your situation but I know adultery and divorce terribly hurts God’s heart as the Bible speaks about even in Hosea. There is the verse, Matthew 6:24 that says, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Now I say this because if the reason you are considering this other relationship is because of a career then you are putting that career above Jesus. Now I am not trying to just give you my opinion on this I encourage you to search scripture yourself even and see what God has to say to you through that scripture.. My wife and I have had a few struggles for sure but we decided to put God in the center of our marriage instead of focusing on ourselves all the time and the fighting and hurt feelings that we had are mending. Honor God first and He WILL direct your path! God bless you and praying for you in this situation!

I need to cross over my feelings of rejections from my family and friends. Ever since I accepted my Lord Jesus, people are avoiding me. Please pray for me. Thank you. Amen. Let Go and Let God. A mentor, Jim Baker of Wealth with God.com, says it this way “No one takes better care of me than Dad”. Praise God from whom all blessings flow as we hold His hand guide us.
