“Get strong without even moving from your seat!” Have you ever dreamed of a workout like this, one that doesn’t even require you to get up? That would certainly appeal to a lot more people than having to work up a major sweat like those athletes you always see in gym ads! Nevertheless, it’s no secret that if we want to be physically strong, most of us will still have to work out, lift weights, etc.
But what does it take to be stronger inside? Stronger than bad moods, sadness, frustration, disappointments, and injuries?
Here’s a little tip…where do you usually buy the best pizza? At a sushi restaurant? No, at an Italian restaurant! You go where pizza is the specialty, where the master chef takes pride in his/her culinary creations, designing all the crusts, sauces, toppings, and flavors with meticulous attention to detail.
Let me ask you a question today: who designed and planned YOU? God, of course! :-) So, if your job, family situation, or life circumstances aren’t going as planned, He has the answers that will give you peace. If something isn’t working properly in your body anymore, He loves to help you! If you are longing for strength today, His wells never run dry. He is the Source of all power and strength!
Here is an incredible promise for you today: “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.“ (Isaiah 40:28-29, NKJV, bold added)
This passage in Isaiah declares that God freely gives power to the weak! So, believe it or not, you don’t have to muster something up or break into a sweat to earn this strength. As you seek Him, He will freely give it to you. Yes, without even moving an inch from where you’re seated right now, you can say a prayer today and receive His divine strength! :-)
Would you like to do so with me today? Let’s pray together…“Jesus, thank You for being the Creator, the Master Designer, and the Source of everything I need! I come to You today to ask for Your divine strength. Please replace my listlessness with Your joy, my fatigue with Your power, and my disappointment with Your endless hope. I ask in faith, believing I receive, because I know You want the best for me! Thank You for lovingly creating me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

I recently had my 60th birthday and am thankful that my Father God has been with me every breath of the way. My Mom is going through a very rough time, and I am able to be here for her. Please pray for her to trust in The LORD with all her heart, soul and strength;, “Glo” is getting weak and forgetful. Today I will take her for a procedure to help minimize back pain. Thank You Father God for Your Son Jesus, in Whose Name I pray. Amen
