What do you waste the most time on?

When I was in bed sick for a week recently, I found myself automatically spending more time on TikTok. Not everything you see there is bad. I especially love following comedians. Because who doesn’t like to laugh?

But that’s a habit that takes up time very quickly. Even after I was healthy again, I often thought: “Ah, just a short video in between my work.” And I was lost on the internet again for an hour.

I was shocked when I realized that! Here’s a short video, just before going to bed and hey presto, you’re missing an hour of sleep that you spent on meaningless things. And if I questioned myself the next morning: “Do you even remember any of the videos? What good things do you keep from it for your life,” the answer was, “No. Nothing.”

Perhaps you, have something else taking up too much space and time in your life. What is it exactly?

You don’t just want to survive, but to thrive. God wants to give you a tremendous work in your life. And we can easily overlook this task if we don’t follow His leading.

God has so much for each of us to do, to accomplish for Him. In His power. God’s Word says, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12 NIV)

We can easily miss this incredible opportunity if we give in to time-wasters and pointless pursuits. The meaninglessness in your life could also come from the false idea that God could never mean you. That’s exactly who He means!

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” (Revelation 3:20 NIV)

BELIEVE what you read in God’s Word and you will EXPERIENCE what is possible!
