Seven deadly consequences
Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Seven deadly consequences
Do you live with no fear? Have you ever been fearful? I’m pretty sure we all have to a greater or lesser degree. Fear is not a stand-alone feeling. It has consequences. In fact, it works like a factory, creating options, thoughts, feelings, and consequences. Fear is a dream-killer.
I remember a time in my life when fear influenced my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I was afraid of rejection and failure. I felt insecure every day. The Bible says, “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe.” (Proverbs 29:25, NKJV)
Do you believe you can be free of all fear? I do. The fear of man creates a few significant problems. Here are my seven deadly consequences of the fear of people:
- Intimidation
- Codependency
- Enabling
- Anger
- Withdrawal
- Blaming
- Insecurity
In a weird way, these seven deadly consequences form a web that ensnares us. Are you sick of fear and the snare that it creates? Paul the Apostle once challenged his Padawan, Timothy, with these words: “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7, NIV)
Reject all fear and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with love, power, and a sound mind. God wants you to know that He is with you: “‘So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” (Isaiah 41:10, NIV)
You are a miracle, and I love you more than cookies.
Thank You Jesus.

And YES to reject all fear, ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with love, power, and a sound mind.
