What are You thinking, God?

AMED 59.26

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | What are You thinking, God?

What’s on your mind right now? What’s occupying your thoughts and feelings? Where are you going in life? How are you making it through the COVID-19 nightmares?

I’m comforted to know that God knows what’s really going on because I don’t. There is a Bible verse I lean on in times like these: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)

To be honest with you, I’m not sure which scientist, news reporter, or politician to believe. In these confusing times, I want to encourage you to press into God for the answers. He has the answers, and He can show you the way. God has foreknowledge. Nothing catches Him by surprise, not even bad things. He promises, “…in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28, NIV)

This amazing Bible verse about God’s elect also brings me great comfort: to those “who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with His blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.” (1 Peter 1:2, NIV)

You are God’s elect. He voted for you and chose you. He won’t leave you without direction or help. In fact, the Holy Spirit is committed to helping you find the truth and walk in it: “‘But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.’” (John 16:13, NIV) You may not be able to see through the weeds right now, but I trust God and know that His Spirit will lead you. He’ll take you by the hand and bring you into a better place because you are a miracle. And I love you a ton.

      Hi Paul,
      Greetings from the Philippines.
I like today’s devotion, God what are you thinking? After reeding this, I’m also comforted to know that God knows what’s really going on in the world most especially this Covid Pandemic.
I’m encouraged to seek the Lord through the help of the Holy Spirit for directions and answers for the questions that can’t be answered by the government and health experts.
It’s best to get it from God himself.
      Have a blessed day Paul.
