What Has God Given You?

Hello my friend! Let’s pray:

Jesus, thank you for the gift of sharing Your Word today. I pray in this moment and ask that any sacrifice they make today would be paid back to them in blessing after blessing. Use the sharing of their time, talent and treasure to bless the lives of those around them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.  

Dear friend, what do you have in your life that, if offered to God, could become a blessing that could change the hearts of the entire world? Now, before you say “nothing” or underestimate your impact potential, I want to remind you of a man who shared a “grave” and changed the world completely!

Matthew 27:57-60 says, “As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away.” (Matthew 27:57-60, NIV)

Joseph of Arimathea offered what he had…his respect for the death of Jesus, his availability during the evening, his influence to make the request of Pilate and a family grave plot in which to bury Jesus. Joseph shared of himself, and God uses his offering to usher in the greatest miracle of human history, the RESURRECTION of JESUS!

My friend, you can have a huge impact if you are willing to share what God has placed in your life. God can use your story, your past, your influence, your prayer, your job, your time, your talents, your faithfulness and even your pain to change lives.
