Of all the voices that you could hear, the Holy Spirit’s voice is, without a shadow of a doubt, the sweetest and the strongest, the most heavenly and most profound.
When the Spirit of God speaks to you, it transcends everything that you are, all that you have known.
The voice of the Lord is the most loving of voices and His ways, the wisest.
Listening to Jesus is the best path and decision.
The Holy Spirit speaks to you. He speaks to you every day:
- Through dreams and visions
- Through your daily reading of the Word
- Through sermons and teachings
- Through worship music
- Through resting silently and peacefully in His presence
- Through a friend
When you listen to the Holy Spirit, that’s when the miracle happens, when your human limits are obliterated because you receive the wisdom, advice, and instructions of the Most High God!
Each day, the Holy Spirit teaches you a bit more. He gives you His life, strength, and truth. As the Word says, “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” (John 14:26, NLT)
My prayer and invitation is that you listen to and obey the sweet voice of the One who loves you, of the One who witnessed your birth and desires for you to be happy and thrive more than anything.
In the following short video, I’d like to share some thoughts with you in response to this question…How can I be sure that it’s the Spirit of God speaking to me and not my imagination? The video also mentions the first time I met Paul Goulet, through the promptings of the Holy Spirit! :-)

Hello,
I truly needed this message today as I realize how often the Holy Sprit is speaking to me. Yesterday my neighbor left garbage in their front yard and it looked really bad. I wanted to confront them but instead I felt led to go get my grabber and pick it up- something I didn’t want to do but compelled to do rather than get in a confrontation. I couldn’t understand my action but realize it was Holy Spirit directing my steps.

Wow thank you for this confirmation Eric – I have been on a journey yearning to hear from the Holy Spirit and your message reminded me that The Holy Spirit has been talking to me all this time and today I realised during mentorship that my mentor was indeed sent by God and the verse you shared on miracle a day today John 14:26 confirmed this to be true.
I thank God for this platform and all other means God introduced to me – everything is insyc!

It’s true!! I struggle with the Father of lies telling me that I’m worthless and I can’t seem to let go of my past ( to much time on my hands ever since I got sick ) then in the middle of a thought I hear ” pray or enough or no more. It’s the Holy spirit. Thank you so much
I truly enjoy this video about we have to act within 7 seconds after Holy spirit prompting otherwise we will not do it. We must be quick in obedience when our Father ask us to do it.

Wow! I just had an “AHA” moment! When my thoughts get tangled up with the past or I start to hear the whispering of not “being enough” and then I’ll hear “STOP IT”! That’s the Holy Spirit?! It never occurred to! Guess God isn’t done with me yet!
Eric, thanks for your heavenly word today, which is very fitting. I realized that God is truly speaking to me on a higher level. My dreams revral what God is telling me and I am listening fervently. I truly needed this reminder and I know that God is in charge and he will make all things right as I continue to listen, pray and thank him for his grace snd favor. These devotionals are such a blessing! I need the guidance and clear direction of the Holy Spirit now more than ever in my life. I’m desperate for it and it is a desperate cry to Him.

I am in awe of God.I have been praying to hear from Him. He has been speaking only that i have not been silent to listen. I have also been afraid of His voice, like hearing Him physically speak. And it is amazing to testify that He has the sweetest,strongest,most loving voice. I have heard Him speak to my situations through His servants(sermons,A miracle a day,worship music), through my friend yesterday. Thank you God,thank you for your Holy Spirit in us.Thank you Eric for your life and purpose,God is transforming our lives through you.
This message is really encouraging. It really is a reminder that God sent the Holy Spirit to lead us in the right path. It takes 7 seconds to either act or ignore the Holy Spirit and I pray I learn to be obedient to the Holy Spirit and take the instructions given. Thank you for this powerful reminder. I needed the confirmation that the Holy Spirit speaks to us in so many ways and that it’s just a matter of taking the time to listen and respond. Responding to the Holy spirit is the best decision we can make for our lives as God knows that our destiny lies in obeying the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and revelation.
Eric, what a good and timely word! I Prayed last night that God would send someone to our Alpha meeting, since we were experiencing low turnout, and praise His name He did just that! God sent me a man who immigrated from the Philippines and was searching for answers. So I expect to be ushering him into the Kingdom in the coming days. Yes, I believe we are God’s ushers.
