Do you just not feel like praying today?
Don’t worry if you’re nodding right now because that applies to you. That doesn’t make you a worse Christian. It’s actually completely normal for us to struggle with prayer from time to time:
“…the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (Romans 8:26 NIV)
That’s in the Bible too! So, you don’t have to beat yourself up today while you may have opened the Bible but the words just won’t come out of your mouth. Or maybe you haven’t even taken a moment to seek God’s presence, even though your heart is so full. Even though there’s so much you would like to tell God. So much you would like to ask Him for.
Relax. Take it easy.
Look at how God’s Word wants to encourage you today:
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.” (Romans 8:26-27 NIV)
Just come before God today, even if you can’t find words. Stay in this silence for a moment and open your heart to His presence.
You can approach Him without words, and experience the power of His Holy Spirit!
Consciously pause with God today, even if your heart can’t find words.

WOW!!! Yest another timely message from you Deborah led by our Comforter, Advocate and Guide the Holy Spirit’…Praise God!!! I was just sharing about this with a brother who is Catholic and struggling light through text. God opened a door for me to help him last October til November and then I didn’t hear from him…til I fwd a song the other day the Holy Spirit was singing over me…which He has gifted me with over the past few years. He thanked me and I’ve been encouraging him over the past few days including last night.
Please keep me, my husband, daughter, family and all of God’s children who live on the east coast in the US, from NJ, Washington , D.c. to MA where I live who felt the tremor of a 4.8 earthquake here yesterday morning. I was in bed at the time and thought I felt my house and my bed shake and then forgot about it. Later on in the day a friend and co-sponsor from my CODA group whose a park ranger had reached out to me for prayer for her brother, and then shared she was still inspecting the damage in Uxbridge, MA from the earthquake. I was dumbfounded to say the least and texted back WHAT.? ?? Then I remembered what I felt at the same time in the morning. So I searched online and am still dumbfounded to learn an earthquake hit the center of NJ and was felt all the way up to MA where I live. When I turned on the news to listen with my husband I also heard the quake put a Crack in the Washington Monument in Washington, DC. The Holy Spirit spoke and nudged me to share with my brothers and sisters in Christ, family, etc that it was a message from Jesus to BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT…JESUS IS STILL ON THE THRONE AND IS VOMING ALOT SPONER THEN HIS LOST SHEEP REALIZE…TO BE SURE TO PUT ON THE FULL ARMOUR OF GOD EVERYDAY EPHESIANS 6:10-18 ABD PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!!’ As I’m finishing my text to you the Holy Spirit’s singing over me a KLOVE song, “COME JESUS COME…AND NOW the song RESCUE.

Thank you, Deborah, this message came on time, I woke up today, I could lift myself to pray, I opened the bible from my phone and read the daily verse, and shared it on social media but I couldn’t find a word to talk to my savior and when it was about time to left the bed, I opened up my mail to read “AMiracle every day”, I was shocked to find the title of today’s meditation “ when your heart can not find words”. Thank you Holy Spirit for always having my back, I know God is always there for me even when I don’t know what’s going on, you are always on the battlefield for me and I know I will be victorious in Jesus.
Please pray for me I always feel discouraged, I am in a spiritual battle with demonic attacks at night, especially in my dreams. Thank you Deborah for your wise words, always on point to lift me up. Thank you Jesus for “ A miracle every day” team. May God continue to bless your ministry.
The devil cannot win even with the horrible dreams, my friend in Christ…… pray this, prayer until they go away, or come back.

Holdie, just insert your for my and me for him in the prayer. I have been plagued on and off with night terrors, my uncle told me that if you can’t fall asleep because you are subconsciously afraid to have them, just read the word of God, it works. Now that doesn’t mean that some times those dreams can’t come back, that is why the prayer. I, will keep you in my thoughts and put you in God’s hands my friend in Christ…….
I know what you are going through Holdie. I’m having attacks on my mind that are terrifying. I will wake up in the middle of the night in fear. I have typed out scriptures and have others on my phone. I read these until I fall back to sleep. Sometimes that’s all I can do is read scripture because the words for prayer just won’t come. I’ll be praying for you.
